WHERE WILL JOBS BE WHEN I GRADUATE?  WHAT WILL THEY PAY?  HOW DO I COMPETE?

OVEC REGIONAL WORKFORCE OUTLOOK
Understanding where employment opportunities will be and what education, skills, and training will be required to compete for these jobs gives iLEAD students a competitive edge to succeed in a global economy.  Jobs Forecast Data empowers students and parents with

information to strategize for the future.  It also informs decisions about what educational programs, certifications, and training should be offered at iLEAD to align with labor market demands.

The Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative (OVEC) is a consortium of 13 school districts in Kentucky's "Golden Triangle" Region.  The OVEC member districts (including the five iLEAD sponsoring districts) sit inside the Golden Triangle - a region bordered by Kentucky's largest metropolitan areas of Louisville, Lexington, and Northern Kentucky.  OVEC operates iLEAD Academy for the five sponsoring districts.

During planning for creation of iLEAD Academy, OVEC commissioned a Jobs Forecast Report for the Golden Triangle Region.  Pathways of study for iLEAD were then chosen to prepare students for the Golden Triangle Region's highest-growth, highest-wage occupations.
